The XINZUO Chinese-style chef’s knife is crafted for precision, durability, and everyday versatility. Made with 73-layer Damascus steel and a powdered steel core (14Cr14MoVNb), this knife delivers exceptional sharpness, edge retention, and resistance to rust and corrosion. After advanced vacuum heat treatment and deep freezing, the blade reaches a hardness of 62–64 HRC, ensuring long-lasting performance even with frequent use.
The blade is sharpened using traditional wet hand-grinding and V-shaped 15° sharpening on both sides, giving it razor-like sharpness ideal for slicing meat, fish, vegetables, and herbs with ease. The arc-shaped spine design reduces finger fatigue, making it comfortable for extended cooking sessions.
The handle is made from premium natural olive wood, carefully selected for its strength, beautiful grain, and resistance to cracking or deformation. Its ergonomic shape provides a secure, balanced grip and excellent control during cutting.

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
