Vitamin D for Immunity

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that can be obtained from food or synthesized in the skin under the influence of sunlight. Vitamin D3, the form of vitamin D that forms in the skin, is a potent and active form of the vitamin. Vitamin D2 is a version of vitamin D that forms in plants, fungi, and yeasts during photosynthesis.
