DHC Concentrated Turmeric (Ukon) is a powerful supplement designed to support healthy habits, particularly in conjunction with alcohol consumption. The concentrated formula in this supplement is enhanced to 110 times the usual strength of turmeric. Three Types of Turmeric: The supplement contains three types of turmeric, each with unique benefits:
- Autumn turmeric (rich in curcumin)
- Spring turmeric (contains beneficial essential oils)
- Purple turmeric (also known for its essential oil content)
These types work synergistically to maximize effectiveness. Two capsules a day provide 50 mg of curcuminoids.
Curcumin, the active component in turmeric, is a polyphenol known for its wide range of health benefits, including:

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
